Day 1: Why I’m Starting To Write Online
Day 1: Why I’m Starting To Write Online
I recently signed up for Dickie Bush & Nicolas Cole’s cohort-based course, Ship 30 for 30 to learn about digital writing and to share my thoughts and learnings on Technology, being Intentional, and being creative in everyday life.
Here are a few reasons why:
-
I have been in Tech Industry for more than a decade and I have few learnings to share.
-
Exploring new topics and writing about them is the best way to learn.
-
Quality Content is rare and more so now, in this sea of information, my effort to deep dive and discover mindfulness. My way of being grounded.
-
It is my attempt to finally let the audience read my writing and in the process evaluate my options as a Digital Writer.
Over the next 30 days, I plan on writing about -
-
Software Quality Assurance and Automation Tools. Not just about ‘hows’ and ‘whys’ but ‘why nots’.
-
Being Intentional and mindful with the use of Technology. How the things that keep us entertained are consuming us.
-
The purpose of being creative and define the quality of content for me.
-
Football/Soccer and the role it plays in keeping me grounded, an outlet for my frustrations of everyday life. Why Ship30for30 Cohort for me:
-
Writing is a lonesome process, community helps to keep me on track and is a medium to get feedback.
-
It has taken the difficult part about writing away from me, the tiresome process of figuring out the where.
-
Keeps me Energized and Accountable.
-
Get over my fears of publishing.
Join me on this adventure — and let me know if you have any questions and/or feedback along the way!
I’m excited to start sharing what I know online.
Until Tomorrow!!
